Nose
Earthy and herbal notes, toasted macaroons and rum baba, layered over sweet phenols. Soft sea breeze, citrus peel, gentle peat smoke, and polished oak with hints of vanilla. [2, 3, 9]
Palate
Silky and balanced, with sweet and tangy fruits like cranberries and peaches, combining with cinnamon and cracked black pepper. Mellow, soft peat, bog myrtle, and exotic smoke are underwritten, allowing Bowmore's iconic maritime character to shine. [2, 3, 9]
Finish
Long, graceful, and lightly smoky, with lingering citrus, subtle salinity, and elegant oak. Herbal juice, ash and dust, dry peat aroma with a rocky style, gradually turning bitter, with some grapefruit peel and bark and a little sweetness. [3, 17]
