Description

The oldest operational distillery on the isle of Islay, built in 1779. Today it is part of the Suntory Group, having been acquired by the Japanese company in 1994. Under their ownership is has been nurtured into one of the most collectable names in Scotch whisky. This is the 11th release from the Bowmore Legend series, a limited edition presented in 2004, featuring the story of 'The Blacksmith and the Fairies'.
