- Nose
- Crisp pear and spice, distinct peat smoke and maritime notes, woodland rather than coastal evocations, citrus fruits, custard, hint of white fruit (apple, peach, coconut), pineapple syrup, caramel, pine nuts. Smoke and marine notes grow with time.
- Palate
- Balanced caramel and almond notes, full aroma characterized by smokiness, subtle citrus fruits and delicate honey sweetness. Glides lightly, coastal peat greets with vigour then descends, black pepper and cinnamon on a carpet of candied citrus, unripe banana, apple, liquorice, toasted hazelnuts, burnt caramel.
- Finish
- Subtle smoke with a warm, lingering texture. Powerful and intense, lasting impression. Not very long with a vein of salty ash and wood that runs through crema catalana, nuts, liquorice.
