Bowmore 12 Year Old Sherry Oak Cask is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky, matured in a combination of Oloroso sherry and ex-bourbon casks, often with an Oloroso sherry finish. It balances Bowmore's signature coastal peat smoke with rich sherry, fruit, and spice notes.

Bright fruit meets soft smoke
The contrast is the point here: syrupy peaches and ripe pears with lemon sit beside soft peaty smoke, while the finish brings oak and sweet spice back into focus. The creamy, smooth palate gives those fruit and smoke notes a joined-up texture rather than making them feel like separate parts. There is plenty happening, but the balance of sweet fruit and gentle smoke keeps the character approachable. A considered, fruit-led take on an Islay malt.
