Description

Established as Speciality Drinks in 1999, Elixir Distillers was set up by brothers Sukhinder and Raj Singh who are also known for founding the online spirits retail site the Whisky Exchange. The independent bottlers have several ranges including the Single Malts of Scotland, Elements of Islay, and Port Askaig. The Single Malts of Scotland range consists of independent bottlings of vintage single malts. This particular release is a sweet, fruity, and complex Bowmore, distilled on 7 May 1996 and bottled after 22 years in a single hogshead cask on 23 June 2018. It is described as elegant, with a distinctly maritime air.
