Nose
A smoky, brine-drenched aroma drifted across driftwood, lavender and lemon balm. Then came the sweet notes of vanilla, honey and butterscotch, followed by grapefruit and smoked apples.
Palate
The palate was a sweet and smoky affair, with hints of liquorice, ginger and chilli. Water brought out more sweetness, with notes of caramel, honey and vanilla, alongside a gentle smokiness.
Finish
The finish was long and lingering, with a pleasant warmth and a touch of spice.
