This single malt spent 16 years maturing, initially in American Oak ex-Bourbon and European Oak Sherry casks, before a finishing period in hand-selected Ruby Port casks sourced from the Douro Valley. This process imparts an enchanting richness and complexity, balancing Bowmore's signature peaty character with autumnal sweetness, dark fruits, and velvety spice.
