Nose
Very aromatic. Deep, red wine notes - red berries, marmalade and rosehips. A slight (and pleasant) savoury note can be found lurking side-stage.
Palate
Great texture - thick and viscous. The 'big red' influence from the Valpolicella cask is apparent, definitely one for wine lovers; super fruity, with vibrant Victoria plums and cranberries, which linger (naturally). Notes of crushed ginger and black pepper make a late cameo.
Finish
Not explicitly stated as a separate finish, but the palate notes 'linger (naturally)'.
