A single malt distillery on the isle of Islay, Bruichladdich's flagship brand is a non-peated style. The distillery also produces peated variants like Port Charlotte and Octomore. This 15-year-old bottling from the 1990s was released before the distillery reopened under Murray McDavid's guidance.

Nose
Candle wax, floral touches (both honeysuckle freshness and more fragrant petals), sweet apple, vanilla cream and a bit of tropical fruit.
Palate
Very soft to start, with darker and heavier flavours developing on the palate - sharp woody spice (clove and cinnamon), dark wood bitterness, wood resin and charcoal, with a gentle syrup sweetness taking the edge off.
Finish
Fruity dark chocolate, apple skins, lingering woody spice with hints of the flowers from the nose.
