Nose
A little musky at first – takes us back to the Bruichladdich warehouses and our with Jim McEwan. Cigar box and tobacco leaf too, making way for red fruit (raspberries?), vanilla, red lace liquorice and black pepper. Summer pudding.
Palate
Quite vinous on the palate, still very 'red', with more cigar box and some fruity marinaded barbecue char.
Finish
You're smoking a cigar just as some chap on the far side of the terrace whips out a hookah and slowly but surely starts to enjoy some strawberry tobacco. Or something. It's nice.
