Description
A single malt distillery on the isle of Islay, currently part of the whisky holdings of French company, Rémy Cointreau. The distillery's flagship brand of single malt is a non-peated style, however it also produces peated variants called Port Charlotte and Octomore, as well as The Botanist gin. This Bruichladdich 1971-2010, 39 Year Old, is a very rare private cask bottling, one of just 88 individually numbered bottles produced from a single cask. It was hand bottled by the Laird of Kildalton as a tribute to the 'Queen of the Faries.'
