Nose
Tarmac and felt roofing, pigsties, damp attics, waterlogged fallen trees. Gooseberry, melon, lychee, black tea, seaweed, saline, camphor. Dilution brings effervescent orange, nougat creaminess, farmy notes, wet hay, loams and sands.
Palate
Tarry/herbal/medicinal peat, burning haybales, smoky ancho chilli, coal ash, road surfacing, burnt paper, sticking plasters. Salted toffee, singed pastry cases, smoked apple, grapefruit slices, cliff-face minerality. Water adds tangy orange, white fruits, sweetness from white chocolate, alluvial clays and minerals.
Finish
Medium to long with surface cleaner, ash and white fruit sweetness lingering.
