Description

Octomore 10.4 is the youngest ever released in the Octomore series, distilled in 2016 from Scottish barley peated to 88 ppm. It was matured for three years in heavily toasted virgin French Limousin oak casks and bottled at 63.5% ABV without chill-filtration or added color. This limited edition release of 12,000 bottles is known for its complex and deep character despite its young age.

Rich with dark chocolate, tobacco, bonfire smoke, leather, vanilla cream, blueberry, dry straw, and pear. Also notes of resin, rubber, wood varnish, and a subtle farmy quality.
Palate
Spicy with pepper, cloves, nutmeg, and a dry character. Sweet and oaky with cream, vanilla, chocolate, smoked meat, ash, tobacco, and a touch of lemon. Intense fruitiness, malt, and a medicinal note.
Finish
Long, dry, and spicy with tobacco, peat, dried fruits, bitter oak, and hot spices. Notes of burnt rubber, chocolate, lemon, and lingering ash.
