Octomore 16.1 is an uncompromising Islay single malt whisky from Bruichladdich Distillery, part of 'The Impossible Equation' bottling series. It is distilled from 100% Scottish Concerto barley, malted to 101.4 PPM, and matured for five years in first-fill bourbon barrels. Bottled at 59.3% ABV, this limited edition release aims to balance intense peat smoke with surprising delicacy and complexity.

Palate
Immediate yet gentle peat smoke followed by salted caramel, honeydew melon, apricot, sweet malt sugars, cinnamon, star anise, sea salt, chocolate, and coconut with soft earthy minerality.
Finish
Long, smoky, and complex with earthy tones, a hint of sea breeze, black pepper, and caramel interwoven with sea salt.
