Description

Port Charlotte 10 Year Old is a heavily peated Islay single malt whisky, conceived, distilled, matured, and bottled entirely on Islay. Made from 100% Scottish barley, it is trickle distilled through tall, narrow-necked stills. This permanent expression, peated to 40ppm, is matured in a combination of 65% first-fill American whiskey casks, 10% second-fill American whiskey casks, and 25% second-fill French wine casks. It is non-chill-filtered and bottled without added color at 50% ABV.
