Nose
Salt, ropes, sea weed and a fishing harbour. Classic Islay style with mountains of peat in it. Sweet peatiness, heather and a touch of lemon as well.
Palate
Dry and peppery, incredibly fierce. Heather and peat and a lot heavier than expected.
Finish
A little tarry with a lemon hint. Briny and a storm at the beach. Again the heathery peat, salt and a little medicinal.
