Description

This Bruichladdich 1984 32 Year Old Rare Cask Series 'All In' is a limited-edition unpeated Islay single malt Scotch whisky. It was distilled on December 31, 1984, and initially matured in refill bourbon barrels and hogsheads. In 2008, under the direction of then master distiller Jim McEwan, the whisky was re-racked into first-fill bourbon casks for an additional eight years of maturation. This release, part of the Rare Cask Series, comprises the last 12 casks from the 1984 vintage and yielded only 3,000 bottles worldwide.

Very natural, rich Bruichladdich with beautiful fruits like plums, melons, mango, apricots, buttercups, vanilla, honey, coconut, mint, dusty oak, and a coastal tinge of salinity.
Palate
Sweet jammy fruits like pineapple, tangerines, apricots, and marmalade. Creamy vanilla and tablet with soft oak spice (ginger, liquorice) and leafy hints, balanced by a clear island character.
Finish
Very long, slightly nutty, with citrus zest and allspice, evolving to warm scones, dried fruit, and candied orange.
