Description

Originally released as a duty-free exclusive as part of Bruichladdich's Re/Define range, this unpeated 21 Year Old Islay single malt was distilled from 100% Scottish barley and matured for over two decades exclusively on Islay. It was aged in a combination of 80% ex-bourbon and 20% sherry casks (Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez). The result is a complex single malt with remarkable depth, showcasing layers of dried fruit, spice, and leather from the sherry wood, combined with vanilla, sweet toffee, and honey from the American oak. Bruichladdich's classic citrus and floral notes provide structure, while a subtle maritime influence speaks of its all-Islay maturation. The packaging features an innovative, eco-friendly outer wrap made from recyclable paper pulp.
