- Clean with fruity freshness, notes of honeydew melon, fruit salad, fraise des bois, tropical fruit, and a perfumed disposition. A gentle oak balances things out nicely, alongside sea salt, nectarines, lactic funk, honey, cocoa, and hints of rose petal, vanilla, and sweet malt. There's a marine feeling with iodine, salty water, and creamy pear.
- Palate
- Fruity and full, with excellent integration of estery fruit and aniseed notes, toffee, Seville marmalade, and hints of peppery spice with bruised pear. It is syrupy with toffee sweetness, soft fruits, licorice, and peppery spices. Strong with walnut crisp, orange peel, almonds, oak spice, and a fine herbaceous note, leading to cocoa and mellow, chewy textures.
- Finish
- Quite soft but of good length, very fruity with a gentle oak. It offers lemon rinds, a hint of earthy peat, black pepper, orange rind, and is medium-long and dry with cocoa, toffee sweets, and nuts, being slightly bitter. It is extremely clean, lightly marine, with pear and lemon notes.
