Description

Buffalo Trace Single Oak Project Barrel #24 is part of Buffalo Trace Distillery's landmark 192-barrel experiment exploring the impact of tree cuts, stave seasoning, char level, entry proof, warehouse type, and mashbill. Barrel #24 was crafted using rye mashbill bourbon filled at 105 entry proof into a barrel constructed from the bottom half of a tight-grain tree, seasoned for 12 months, given a #4 char, and aged in a concrete floor warehouse.
