Proof: 90 Barrel Number: 75. This is part of the Buffalo Trace Single Oak Project, an extensive experiment that began in 1999, exploring seven variables in bourbon production across 192 unique barrels. Barrel #75 is a rye recipe bourbon, entered at 125 proof, aged in a barrel with staves seasoned for 12 months, average grain size, #4 char, from the top half of the tree, and aged in a Rick-K warehouse.
