Description

Buffalo Trace Single Oak Project Barrel #104 is an experimental Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey released in late 2011 as part of Buffalo Trace's landmark Single Oak Project. Each release in the 192-barrel experiment explored combinations of oak growth rings, charring, warehouse placement, and mashbill recipes. Barrel 104 was crafted from a wheated bourbon recipe, entered at 125 proof, and aged in a barrel crafted from the bottom half of an American white oak tree with #4 char and 6 months of stave seasoning.
