Nose
A very interesting, lifted nose that shows aromas of marmalade, apple pie, pear, toasted almond and sweet spice, above a layer of fresh peat smoke, with a subtle straw and menthol end note.
Palate
The palate is full and mouthfilling and delivers flavours of orange peel, sweet biscuit, dried apple and roast almond, before the peat grips and takes hold with a prickle and menthol lift.
Finish
The finish is long and supple as marmalade and almond make a brief encore before the peat, straw and menthol conclude the show.
