Nose
Maraschino cherries, Black Forest gateau, raspberry compote and Braeburn toffee apples - red fruits that definitely lean towards cherry but a fair dose of red apple in there too. There is, after the red fruit intensity subsides a little, a quite salty maritime note with some peppery oak - salt and pepper whitebait and beached driftwood.
Palate
Cherry liqueur, Bakewell tarts with a sprinkling of sea salt, salted caramel apples, copper pennies, pink peppercorns. As big on the red fruit as you would expect, and plentiful in this sort of almond/marzipan note but wonderfully offset but plenty of salt.
Finish
Sweet and salty, red vines and salted marzipan.
