Description

Distilled at Bunnahabhain in 1989, this whisky was later finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks (Nos. 5671, 5672 and 5673) before being bottled in 2015 by Wilson & Morgan. A limited release of just 585 bottles, it offers the rich, sweet influence of PX cask finishing layered over Bunnahabhain's characterful spirit-making it a sought-after dram for collectors and sherry cask enthusiasts alike.

Intense aroma with notes of dried raisins, dark chocolate and exotic fruits. A creamy, floral-soft bouquet with aromas of beeswax and tea biscuits, building with orchard fruit character (nectarines, stewed apples).
Palate
Soft and creamy texture with a full-bodied taste. Notes of dark chocolate, tropical fruits, delicate sherry tones, moderate fruitiness and biscuity malt. The PX influence is subtle.
Finish
Long and complex with hints of herbs, black tea, sugar and gentle oak notes. Excellent sweet-dry balance with beeswax repeating. Clean and without winey notes or cloying sweetness.
