Nose
Sweet and creamy; vanilla custard topped with crushed meringue and zesty lemon curd. Fresh cut grass swirls with aromas of the seaside; sea weed, brine, and sea salt. Light peat smoke envelopes the nose throughout. Ground almond, tinned pear, and salted caramel.
Palate
Candied lime and lemon sit upon a bed of stewed pear and currants. Nuances of velvety milk chocolate lead to richer leather undertones with hints of liquorice. Key lime pie, toffee apple, oak char, anise and smoky bonfire embers. Sweet toffee, lemon zest, lime, burnt wood, rich peat smoke, sea spray, vanilla, chocolate, liquorice and slight white peach.
Finish
Long and smooth with refined woody tones, tobacco, and bonfire embers. Lemon peel and warming nutmeg and ginger, with just a hint of persisting smoke. Smouldering bonfire. Persistent, with returns of lemon zest, vanilla, black pepper and ginger, along with a light bonfire smoke.
