Description
A whisky distillery on the isle of Islay, notable as one of just two on the island where the preferred production is a non-peated single malt. It has been a part of the Scotch whisky holdings of the South African Distell Group since 2013. This exclusive expression was originally filled into ex-bourbon casks and slowly matured in coastal warehouses since 1997. In 2013, it was filled into carefully selected Moscatel wine casks for a further 2 years of finishing, resulting in a rich, sweet, and spicy whisky.
