Nose
Inviting aromas of peat smoke, briny sea air, delicate florals, vanilla, and oak. Intensely peaty, with big waves of iodine, peppermint, and earthy smoke supported by meaty malt, pressed apples, and buttered crackers.
Palate
Bold flavors of smoky bacon, roasted nuts, dark chocolate, caramel, and toffee, with hints of citrus zest and sea salt. Bold, smouldering ash, charcoal, smoked oak and burnt biscuits lead the way before syrupy flapjack, cocoa, and anise develop in time.
Finish
Long and lingering, with a warm, smoky embrace that gradually fades into a gentle sweetness. A touch of candied smoked bacon, oily smoked nuts and clove.
