Nose
Persian dried limes, redcurrants, salted almond praline, lobster roll, black cherries, Ghormeh Sabzi, mechanics toolbox and fruity smoke.
Palate
The smoke is enveloping, initially the red fruits continue before turning quite acidic and savoury. The cask is in great balance with the powerful spirit. The mechanical aspect continues with a touch of WD/40, some iodine tinctures and a bit of hydraulic fluid.
Finish
Peat steals the show on the finish but doesn't dominate, cranberry follows along with nougat.
