Nose
Very silky with dates, figs, sultanas, ripe blood orange, dark chocolate, honey, leather, and wood wax. Rich sherry notes, raisins, cocoa powder, and a slight farm-y or balsamic touch. Some tobacco, stewed pears, cinnamon, dried red fruits, apricots, and a subtle smoky citrus note.
Palate
Oily and compact with figs, honey, citrus, cocoa, red fruits, and hazelnuts. A warm embrace with a slight spicy thrust, dry, spicy wood, gunpowder, pepper, raisins, orange zest, and a lot of fruit.
Finish
Quite long with cocoa, black pepper, orange, hazelnuts, wood, and lingering spices. Lots of tannins, sweet like red wine, dark notes of figs and dates, salty liquorice, tobacco, and heavy spices. Very aromatic.
