Description

Chorlton Whisky is a small independent bottling company based in Cheshire. This Burnside 20 Year Old is a Speyside blended malt, bottled at natural strength from a single hogshead cask with no colouring or chill-filtering. Burnside is known as a 'teaspooned' malt, meaning a tiny amount of whisky from another distillery is mixed with whisky from one distillery (often Balvenie with a drop of Glenfiddich) so it cannot be sold as a single malt. This release had an outturn of 103 bottles.
