Nose
A lush bouquet of tropical fruits like mango, pineapple, papaya, banana, kiwi, starfruit, and peach, accompanied by dried apricots, honey, vanilla, butterscotch, and subtle spices like cinnamon and nutmeg. Hints of old oak, leather, lemongrass, and mint.
Palate
Silky smooth and complex with layers of dried fruit, rich toffee, creamy vanilla, dark chocolate, toasted almonds, and a subtle hint of spice. Notes of buttered salted caramel, cooked strawberries, bananas flambéed, rum, heather honey, apple compote with cinnamon, Turkish delights, crystallised fruits, white pepper, litchi, gooseberry, grapefruit, and a fresh mint uplift. A gentle touch of orange peel and light floral notes add depth.
Finish
Long and elegant, with a lingering sweetness of honey and caramel, intertwined with warm spices and a subtle hint of tobacco. The tannins of the oak provide a dry and refined finish, while a hint of sherry influence adds pleasing depth and balance. Also, a surprising floral note of lavender.
