- Nose
- Sweet, mellow vanilla custard, butterscotch, pears, apples, and rich fudge. Hints of medicinal alcohol, coconut cake, herbal tea, mirabelle pie, and white chocolate. Also notes of pungent buttery vanilla, spice, leathery pencil shaving oak, faint burnt coconut macaroon, pastry, tarmac, ripe red apple, eucalyptus, glue, sweet fruit gums (pineapple, strawberry), dried coconut, green almonds, mint, toffee, honey, cinnamon, ginger, and gingerbread.
- Palate
- Smooth with fudge, caramel, and a fruity fragrance. Full of mangoes, papayas, plums, hay jelly, baked pears in pastry, cinnamon, fresh flowers, cloves, lemon thyme, salted caramel, old oak, generous vanilla, pear drops, and ripe plum fruitiness. Oily and velvety with notes of nutmeg, cardamom, white pepper, aniseed, chilli, light fruit drops (apple, pear, pineapple), fruit juices, and nuttiness.
- Finish
- Long, sweet, and dry with citrus notes. Medium length with lime, lavender, violet drops, peach melba, pot pourri, vinous fruit, spicy, buttery vanilla oak. Dominant aniseed and licorice, with a faint hint of vegetable beef soup.
