Nose
A distinct buttery note and characteristic hint of sea salt, ginger loaf and pecan pie. Also cold smoke, wet towel, kiwi, cement, green apple, and a hint of peaty ash.
Palate
Creamy coffee, salted caramel, date syrup and crystallised brown sugar, with a subtle hint of peat smoke. Oily and soft mouthfeel with Madagascar pepper, bittersweet coffee chocolate, sea salt, black pepper, raisins, sultanas, caramel, toffee, gentle oaky spice, currants, and aniseed.
Finish
The peat smoke builds, with a leathery note developing over time. Long finish with cold smoke, a little oak, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a lightly bitter edge.
