Canadian Club Chronicles 41 Year Old Edition No 1, also known as 'Water of Windsor', is a limited edition Canadian whisky that was distilled and barreled in 1977. Released in 2018, it was the oldest whisky ever released by Canadian Club at that time and is the inaugural expression in the 'Chronicles' series. It was blended with small additions of cognac, rye, and sherry, and primarily matured in American White Oak barrels. The name 'Water of Windsor' pays homage to the brand's birthplace in Windsor, Ontario. This expression was named Canadian Whisky of the Year for 2019 by Jim Murray.
