Nose
Rich sooty and warming smoke, bright green apples, tart gooseberries, hints of old lobster pots, rusting harbour apparatus, old tin cans of paint, slightly tarry note developing into sweeter liquorice and aniseed.
Palate
Delicious mouthfeel, wonderfully balanced warming, sooty smoke intertwines with sweet liquorice, sharp menthol and eucalyptus, exquisitely fragrant fusion of peppermint and Lapsang Souchong tea, vanilla, floral malt flavors, vegetal peat, touch of sea spray.
Finish
Long and smoky, mellowed with sweet menthol and star anise notes, lingering impression of cigar box and caraway.
