Description

That Boutique-Y Whisky Company bottles Scotch single malt and grain whiskies from a variety of renowned distilleries. These whiskies are adorned with humorous puns presented in cultish comic-book style labels: the purpose is to tell the histories and stories of distilleries or prominent figures in the industry but in a new exciting way. It's not all fun and games though, as they were awarded World. This is a delicious smokey and salty single malt from Islay's Caol Ila distillery.

Nose
Smokey and salty, reminiscent of smoked salmon, with jammy vanilla fruit, roasted chestnuts, burnt thyme, and a little brown sugar sweetness. Smouldering wood and ash, sea spray, old damp rope, and lemon drizzle cake.
Palate
Oily, viscid, with tinned peaches, sweet wood smoke, charred staves, caramelised oak sugars, lemon oil-tinged peat influence, spices, and soft fruity notes. Ashy and damp wood with a salty element.
Finish
Medium length, maintaining a sweet coastal peat profile, charcoal, granulated sugar, and sweet dry oakiness. Smokey with a soft spiciness.
