Description

Released to commemorate 175 years of Caol Ila Distillery, this special edition is a 24-year-old Islay single malt, bottled at natural cask strength to preserve its full character and depth. Matured for over two decades, this rare release showcases Caol Ila's signature maritime peat smoke alongside a refined complexity developed through long aging. Inspired by the sunrises seen from the distillery on its east coast home, this is a well-rounded, light, warming single malt Scotch whisky. Limited to just 3,000 bottles worldwide, this is a fitting tribute to the distillery's heritage.

Palate
Intense honeyed sweetness with a slight oiliness, prominent salty brine, and refined ashy peat smoke. Layers of fresh citrus fruits, buttery vanilla, sea salt, white pepper, and oyster shell minerality.
Finish
Long, warming, and slightly drying, with lightly charred oak spice, white pepper, salty smoke, soft spice, rich cocoa, and lingering campfire embers.
