Nose
Like grappa but with a malt backbone to tame the astringent bitter edge. White grape stems and skins, green pear skins, macadamia nuts.
Palate
Viscous. Absolute perfect alcohol integration. Herbal, floral freshness of geraniums, then hazelnut oil, then green fruits like unripe honeydew and watermelons, touch of absinthe.
Finish
Very long, lingering at almost full power for 4-5 minutes at a time after each sip. Tiger Balm with the camphor particularly distinct and just a hint of clove oil. Gentian. Epsom salts as well.
