Nose
Smoky with a dash of citrus. Briny and maritime in character. Borderline sour, sour oaky notes? With time an element of green as well, herbal notes in the back.
Palate
Medium body. Softer and sweeter on the palate than the nose promised. A fair bit of peppery peat though, ashes and soot. Salt and toffee. Orchard fruits as a base.
Finish
Medium long finish. Toasted oak, and beyond that not much in the way of further development.
