Description

Tokaji, the King of Wines, meets Islay, the Queen of the Hebrides. Sweet, opulent Tokaji casks soften and enrich this powerful island malt, bringing notes of stone fruit, brioche, and oak to Caol Ila's coastal core. A richly textured Scotch that wears its authority lightly. Distilled at Caol Ila in 2012 and bottled in 2026, this 14 year old single malt draws its character from time spent in two first fill Tokay casks. The influence is obvious and elegant, powerful and poised. At 55% ABV, Golden Years delivers intensity without excess, allowing both spirit and cask to speak clearly.
