The Scotch Malt Whisky Society was founded in Edinburgh in 1983 by Phillip 'Pip' Hills. It has a unique code system where the first number refers to the distillery. This particular bottling, SMWS 53.362 'Party Warmer', is a 10 Year Old single malt from Caol Ila distillery, distilled in 2009 and bottled on 1st June 2020. It was matured in a refill ex-bourbon hogshead and yielded 303 bottles.
