Nose
Lots of walnuts, mentholated notes, tarry ropes, medicinal sharpness, petrichor, lemongrass, lemon & salt, rubbed orange skin, and hints of sooty smoke. Some spiced pumpkin, grilled melon, white cake, and cinnamon. Pure, fatty, petrolic power with raw, grubby peat smoke, oily sheep wool, creosoted fence posts, green peppercorns in brine, wet plaster and beach bonfire ashes.
Palate
Very intense with a firm salty and superbly coastal side. Dried herbs, smoked heather, raw peat, tarry ropes, salted lemon juice, and seashells. Cola, white cake, mint, peach, cocoa, and ex-bourbon based flavours. Immensely peppery, peaty, and tarry with squid ink, seawater, a waxy quality, smoked olive oil, fresh oysters, tar, and iodine.
Finish
Very long, salty, with sweet lemons, leathery notes, hints of tarry oil, and eucalyptus. Cocoa, hazelnut, lime cola, fire pit, and oak. Wonderfully long with brittle, crystalline peat smoke, more tar, wood ashes, TCP, and smoked beers.
