Description

This unpeated limited edition natural cask strength Caol Ila has been aged in three kinds of cask reserved for taste alone. It is clean and fresh as the pale sky that follows clearing rain, its intense flavours dancing across the tongue like flecks of foam over wind-lashed waves. This release is part of the Diageo Special Releases 2013 and is named in honour of retired distillery manager Billy Stitchell, who left Caol Ila after 39 years in 2013. It offers a unique unpeated style from the renowned Islay distillery, showcasing a cleaner, more delicate profile while maintaining complexity and depth.
