Description
Carsebridge distillery was founded as a malt distillery in 1799 and converted into a grain distillery in the 1840s. By 1980 it was the largest grain distillery in Scotland. It closed its doors in 1983 and was demolished in 1992. This is an independent bottling by Keeble Cask Company for their Fragrant Drops collection. Distilled in 1975, the whisky matured for 48 years in a refill ex-bourbon hogshead, and was bottled in 2024.
