Description
A single malt whisky distillery in Japan, located within the city of the same name in the Saitama Prefecture. It was established in 2008 by Ichiro Akuto and significantly expanded in 2019 with the opening of a second distillery called Chichibu 2. This specific release, 'Chichibu 2017 Collection Itinéraires - Yoshiya Hongo', is part of a special series of four single cask whiskies, a collaboration between Chichibu, artist Yoshiya Hongo, and chef Shinichi Sato. This particular bottle is a 7-year-old expression, distilled in 2017 and bottled in 2025, from Bourbon Casks #4529 and #4530, with an ABV of 61.4%. There are 218 bottles in this release.
