Description

A grain whisky distillery located in the eponymous town of Japan's Aichi Prefecture. It was opened in 1972 by Suntory, who moved its previous grain whisky production from Yamazaki in the process. Although primarily tasked with the provision of Suntory blends, a Chita brand was launched in 2015. This 'Aichi Edition' was bottled in 2014 specifically for the Aichi Prefecture, where the Chita distillery is located. It is a single grain Japanese whisky known for its light and delicate character.
