Nose
Mellow, crisp, with faint waxiness, mineral and maritime notes (soft sea breezes, slaked lime, salt crystals). Sweeter mid-notes hint at dusty heather pollen, with a lightly woody and earthy base. Later, aromas become rounder with toffee-sweet vanilla fudge, honeyed cereals, oranges, bananas, charred pineapple, lemon candy, mild pepper, grape sweetness, beach sand, and fresh mint.
Palate
Very smooth and waxy in texture, robustly sweet with toffee notes, lightly salty, and a growing peppery warmth. Flavors include lemons, rhubarb, blood orange, small berries, apple juice, salted caramel, nectarines, milk chocolate, and a little nuttiness, getting slightly tropical.
Finish
Long, smoothly dry and spicy with citrus fruits in the background, a trace of dried coconut, and vanilla.
