Description

Signatory was founded by Andrew Symington in 1988. After discovering single cask single malt whisky while managing Prestonfield House Hotel, Andrew bought his first cask, a Glenlivet 1968, and is now one of the largest independent bottlers in Scotland. As of 2002, Signatory Vintage Whisky company became the owner of the Edradour distillery in Perthshire. This Clynelish 10 Year Old 2016 is part of Signatory Vintage's 100-Proof Edition (#77) series, matured in a combination of refill Oloroso sherry hogsheads and new oak hogsheads. It was bottled in 2026 at 57.1% ABV, un-chillfiltered and presented at natural colour, capturing Clynelish's trademark waxy character.

Honeyed malt, citrus peel, candle wax, soft spice, hints of oak and dried fruit. Waxy citrus, green apple, vanilla, sea air and soft peppery spice.
Palate
Full-bodied and textured, vanilla, orchard fruits, toffee, warming spice. Classic Clynelish texture with beeswax, orange oil, malted barley, raisin sweetness, vanilla cream, and warming spice from the new oak.
Finish
Long and gently drying, lingering waxy notes, oak spice, subtle sherry sweetness. Long and satisfying with drying oak, soft sherry fruit, and lingering notes of citrus zest and honeyed malt.
