Nose
Quite a typical Clynelish with ripe fruits (caramelized apple, melons), waxy notes, and something herbal/leafy in the background. Some buttery notes, beeswax, spices, pickled lemon, fermented white grapes, and lychees. Balanced and complex.
Palate
Creamy and punchy, sweet with fruity notes and a buttery quality. Peach jam with vanilla and soft spices, mirabelles, apples, white pepper, and honeycomb.
Finish
Long and warming, still high on fruits with almonds and refreshing mint. Slightly bitter at first, then becomes fruitier again with pears and apples.
